Want to sneak some more protein in your diet?
Try this delicious and easy recipe for protein balls!
4 tbsp of protein powder of choice
4 tbsp of nut butter (sunflower butter if nut allergies)
4 tbsp of shredded coconut
1-2 tbsp of liquid sweetener of choice (agave, honey, maple syrup)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp of almond milk / soy /regular (if required)
1. In a food processor, process all ingredients until they form a sticky dough. If too dry add some almond milk (or milk of choice). Your dough will be sticky but should easily roll.
2. Roll into balls (about the size of golf balls). Recipe should make about 8-10 balls, depending on size.
3. Store in fridge for up to a week. Consume when a hit of energy is required!
Options: stir in some chopped chocolate chips for a sweet treat! Or sub in oats for coconut if you aren’t a fan!
